Did they reach gold, and why didn't they make a second single, they did the same thing WSC did, made a first single hit and left.
-
That album was garbage but i think it barely went gold.
-
RIAA doesn't have it certified anywhere. I think it came real close to gold. They picked a horrible first single.
-
Album wasn't that bad.
...It just wasn't that good.
-
it was exactly a pretty good album but not a classic like how everyone was wishin it to be
-
the album is actually better than most rap albums...
but for Snoop, Warren & Nate it's a weak album
-
I still enjoy it. It had a couple bangers, and yea it could be much better but it was alrite.
-
Thye should've have released "Another Summer" is the second single...that song is just brilliant..
-
The promotion sucked large for that album but its still one of the top albums released in 2004 IMO.....Solid release, still gets rotation in my deck
-
remember to be very dissapointed when it came out regarding the potential this album had. No Warren G, Fredwreck, Soopafly, Daz beats I was like "WTF ?". Remember the album did 89,000 first week so 300,000 units is more realistic . The promotion was poor n the single average: beat was nothing special n Snoop ruins it with his wack half singin 1st verse. Should release Another Summer considering Kanye was hot 8)

I think that "Gotta Find a Way" track is a soon-to-be classic. Nate rips it, and the track is sooo old-school its not even funny 8)

Joysticc was kindda corny if u ask me
-
probably about 400k
-
the Battlecat productions are tight. the hyped producers made a goog job (Kanye West, Hi-Tek). some good ol' funk ("Gotta Find a Way", "Joysticc"). Some good surprises ("Absolutely", "Appreciation"). I would say a few bad tracks ("213 tha Gangsta Clicc", "Mary Jane") a bad choice for a 1st single ("Groupie Luv"). But above all, a lack of West Coast feeling : a real Fred Wreck production. How come Warren didn't even make one track ?!? and just one Dre production for a classic song. "Still got love for the streets, repping 213 (fo life)" Still D.R.E.
-
I liked it...tha album is dope...
-
warren G didnt produce ONE track??? y've goota be kidden me
-
warren G didnt produce ONE track??? y've goota be kidden me
he only did 2 remixes of groupie luv
-
I didn't think it was THAT bad, it was just 10 years too late. Warren's passed his prime. Snoop is nearing his time to bow out. Nate Dogg needs to ONLY do hooks.
-
I think its a pretty good cd. Its a good album to listen to while driving around town;granted there are skipable tracks but overall its solid. My favourites would have to be MLK,213 the gangsta clic,Absolutely and She wasnt feelin me.
Dont get me wrong,if they had some more westcoast production (fredwreck, warren g,dj quik, supafly and dre) then it would've been insane. Still good for a listen though
-
She wasnt feelin me.
I don't know what track it is. it's not on the album.
-
Sorry if its wrong,i didnt have my cd booklet on me so i just checked cdnow.com and played the previews until I found the track I liked. That'll teach me,lol
-
nahh i thought the album pretty much sucked, but thats just my opinion.. Just was dissappointed with it could have been so much better..

The best thing Nate EVER did was his G-Funk Classics records, which was both singing and rapping.....
-
i woz disappointed wit the album waited for so long and for it to be garbage
-
I think the album was fuckin dope, and they should've been releasin "213 Tha Gangsta Clicc" or "MLK" as theit 1st single...
-
There wasn't much 'single' potential on the album IMO, but if they had to go with one I would have chosen ''Twist Ya Body''. Good party track, simplistic sing-song chorus, and a decnet beat from Hi-Tek, whose name is becoming well known among rap fans. Its the kind of commercial song I could have seen blowing up had they given it the chance. Other than that, I only realised how dope ''Dolla Dolla Bill'' was after they removed it as first single and took it off the CD completely. That would have been an okay choice.
-
SLIM 2 NONE!!!!!!!!!
-
213 really picked the WORST track for the single
-
The Original version of "lonely Girl" could have been a good follow up....and the album could have been close to classic if dolla dolla bill was on it
