yeah I don't know for sure, but I would lean towards agreeing with this over the other statements. He had Method Man, DMX, Ice Cube, Redman, WC on Whatcha Gonna Do, all real big names at the time.

He was on the Show OST, which just about everyone that appeared on that OST blew up. I'm sure that gave him a lot of exposure back then, and that was before take a ride dropped.

dunno bout him goin plat, but I'm sure he has gone gold.
