Tight production, tight rhymes, love listening to these cds, yea his older cds have good songs but they dont appeal to me as much because the production sounds outdated or i just dont feel it, he needs to release a new album already
Anybody see the popo is the latest song i heard from him (triple x soundtrack) and its sick as hell, he also came tight on lil jon's album

war disc is cool but peace disc Garbage :P
-
Honestly Im A WAAAY Bigger fan of his older shyt none of it really sounds dated to me except for "Amerikkkas Most.." but its still bangin and has the best rhymes and flows! I love the "War Disc" I dont understand why peeps hate on it? But The "Peace Disc" is like whatever its cool, nothing great though Ice Cube should be ion every body Top 5 dead or alive list IMO...he was the shit nad still is because his catalaogue cannot competed with IMO...4 classics to me not counting his group albums or his E.P. his first four were brilliant hip hop and he wasnt copying any one or giving a fuck about any one back then or he didn't sell out back then when he could of....his group efforts alwys spoker for themselves there was a huge difference when he left N.W.A. and it was the lyricist...

First four timeless classics, EP classic.
War Disc - good album, love the cinematic style production.
Peace Disc - sub par, only a few good songs.
-
love the cinematic style production.
yea thats it! thats what makes it special, any other cds that are kind of like cinematic style production?

I completely agree with D1G1T4L.....They are great albums....the old stuff just doesn't catch my ear as well as the newer stuff...

why is peace disk garbage?
hell low = classic track
you aint gotta lie to kick it = funny/tight track with chris rock, i like cube's flow on this
the gutter shit = fucking gangsta ass track, hard ass beat with jayo felony
supreme hustle = ok song
24 mo hours = battlecat production, average song
untill we rich = tight ass song with krazie bone
you can do it = classic club song
gotta be insanity = sounds cool, like some old school shit, for all those who love his old albums, dont see why u wouldnt like this song
roll all day = god damn i love this song, tight track for a car
can you bounce = failed club song?
Record Company Pimpin' - speaking the truth!
waiting to hate = sounds like some old school shit again
the nigga of the century = never really got into this song
so a lot of classic/excellent songs and a few average tracks, dont see why it's garbage

What's wrong with calling "Hello" "Hello"? Why do some people call it "Hell Low" while it's called "Hello"?

Peace Disc is waaayyy better then War Disc
-
cube is the g.o.a.t as far as i am concerned. but i can't fuck with the war and peace discs. i wouldn't say they're trash but they sound weak next to the rest of cube's catalogue.

Old>>>New

i dont get it either....im the one who made 2 peace disc appreciation threads....so i totally agree....both war and peace albums are great
peace

The War disc is definately underappreciated but the Peace disc is an extremely average album for Cube. I'm looking forward to his next record cause there is a good chance it'll be his last. Hopefully he'll come full circle and bow out with a classic.

co-sign.
Everytime i listen to "Record Company Pimpin" i think of that "Next Friday" scene where he thinks he's gettin a table dance from that mexican girl
-
They're only hated on when compared to his other albums which are all pretty amazing.
It's like comparing all snoops stuf to doggystyle, all his shit sucks compared to doggystyle
-
I liked the War album I didn't care too much for the Peace album.
