Title: Dr. Dre & The Last Emperor
Post by: Twentytwofifty on June 15, 2002, 04:33:04 AM
Does anyone know the previous connection these two had together?
Was he on Aftermath?
What tracks (if any) on "The Legend Of Bigfoot" did Dre produce?
All info about these two is welcome.  Can't find info on The Last Emperor.

i know the last emperor was ridin solo for awhile and then i think he signed with d&d, but im almost postive he didnt sign wit aftermath.....not only that but if he did sign wit aftermath you woulda heard a lot more from him in the mainstream anywayz.....but emperor is one of the dopest lyricists in that game isnt he, mad skillz....one of my favorite songs he did was secret wars and meditation

I read a review for "The Legend Of Bigfoot" around '99 on hiphopdx.com and the first paragraph was talking about how Dre did it again introducing another dope ass emcee.  However I can't remember that much else about the review (except that it got 5 outta 5). On the track "Caravan" he spits "...this caravan is paid for by aftermath..." and he says Dre's name on "The Dozen".  If Dre had him and lost him like eve or hittman then that is truly sad cause this is one of the most original, clever and innovative emcees I have heard in a while and his moment to shine is LONG overdue.
