Title: What west coast producers influenced each other's styles?

This is something that might be harder for us younger cats to answer...but from what you have listened to and paid attention to, what rap producers influenced the following (and any additional) west coast producer's styles the most? We all know Roger n Zapp, George Clinton, and the rest of the 70s/early 80s funk and soul artists influenced them, but I want to see who you all feel influenced each other's styles the most.

I'll just speak on the ones I know most about...I know some older cats could fill in a LOT, especially regarding Dre and who influenced him and vice versa.

Dre - In the 80s, seemed to be influenced more by east coast producers, such as Eric B. and Jam Master Jay, and somehow he morphed his style to have his own identity.

Quik - When he first came out, definitely had Dre's influence as far as how he sampled beats and how he re-played them.

Warren G - Mainly influenced by Dre...but would interpolate more 80s music versus Dre doin mainly 70s music.

Fred Wreck - At first, seemed more influenced by Battlecat than anybody else, but around 2001 he sounded highly Dre influenced.

Battlecat - I didn't start hearin a lot from him til about 97. I know some of his tracks in 96 like Temptations remix had a strong east coast influence, but I couldn't pinpoint any producers. In his 97-2003 style, it seems like he was influenced somewhat by Quik and a bit of mid-90s Dre, even though he definitely had his own twist on it. He also sounded a lot like Ant Banks to me.

Alchemist - I didn't really pay attention to him until "Worst Comes To Worst" and I thought Primo produced that track. You can tell his mentor DJ Muggs had a huge influence on him too.

Battlecat said that working on "Duces n Trayz" was a great experience because all the producers involved in the project worked together, lending each other equipments n all...

I like Battlecat's work on Dazzie Dee(Big Saccs) - Re-Birth most.
