I've had a few jacked by so-called "friends" like my Streetz Iz A Mutha & OG Dogg Food albums. They got theirs though.

well i dont buy cds, but id still be pissed, well only a lil, if ALL of them were, ... ironic tho, i bought the white stripes cd the other day, and i like treasure it, for the sole reason i bought it, i couldnt find it today, and i was flipping out, it was comical

I've had CD's disappear from their cases and reappear too. My Space Boogie CD disappeared for 3 months and came back. I think it was my cousin but I'm not sure. I've had some 2pac CD's disappear for a few months too.
It's weird, only my Kurupt & 2pac shit gets stolen.

I had a few CDs stolen but that taught me a lesson to take my burned copies & leave tha original CDs at home...I've had a few DVDs wind up missing too...I can always find tha case but never tha DVD itself...

I've got about a 1600 original cd collection and I don't allow anyone to touch anything, but they rarely come in that part of the house anyways. If I take a cd to work to play on the portable radio no touches that either. That way if it gets broke or scratched it's my fault. When someone breaks your shit all of a sudden they catch amnesia and don't know you anymore when you ask if you could help in replacing that cd.

had about 250 cd's jacked out of my car, at least they were all cd-rs tho. but i was still heated considering that took so fuckin long to burn them all. could have been worse tho. ;)

in high school i had about a hundred cds stolen in the beginning of the year and then the same thing happened again more towards the middle of the year....that was 9th grade i think....i knew who did it but i couldnt prove it. Other than that i've never had my cds stolen...I had my car broken into and my stereo was stolen and it had the Common - BE cd that i had just bought in it...bastards >:(

yup, i just itunes my shit right when i get it, put it away in a box . and always just put the box away in my closet. i dont let anyone borrow shit. shit always comes back fucking scratched the fuck up.and i especially dont let anyone touch my collection after i have have started collecting hella rare cds.
but yeah back in the days in jr high when i had some friends sleepin over at my pad, my biggie life after death and all eyez on me cd got jacked.. i was so pissed.

I've never had my entire collection stolen, but I was at a party and decided to play DJ for the night and brought my CD case in. All in all, some fuckin klepto tried jacking like 10 CDs, but I got them back a week later when I saw him and threatened bodily harm to him. Thank god I listen to "underground" west coast artist or I'm sure more would have been gone.

My homies stole my CD player from my car back in high school once too. My locks on my old car were bad so it was easy to open it up. I just started driving at the time so my 2 friends didnt know what my car looked like. They jacked my CD player and money. I was so fuckn pissed when I got to my car I started interrogating people I suspected and throwing them in lockers trying to get some info on who did it. I was telling everyone if I find out who took it I'm beating their fuckin ass.
Next morning I get to class. My friends come up to me. "You had a CD player stolen?". I said yeah and they were like, "My bad we took it. I'll bring it to you tomorrow." I wanted to slap the shit outta them both but they were gonna give it back and it was unintentional so no reason to beef.
It was this brand new Sony player that I got as a present from my parents. It was worth around $75 at the time and those motherfuckers were gonna sell it for $20 lol.

nope havent had ne stolen yet, but am pretty percessive about my albums n shit, people can listen to them but they never leave the house unless im goin somewhere wid them...

i had all my shit ripped off too. our house got broken into and i had about 85 cds stolen all my clothes, but what pissed me off the most was my parent used to drink alot of rum(like a 60 pounder a week) so i would jack a whole bunch, i had 2 2 liter pepsi bottles full and the fuckers jacked it. it took me so long to save all that shit.

I had about 50 cd's stolen and I know who did it and after having tons of my stuff get lifted I was pushed over the edge and they were lucky they weren't in my sight at the time because I was so heated shit I actually snapped. I had them all alphabetized so that was D through H. I've bought a lot of them over again but there are still quite a few that I haven't gotten around to getting and some I probably won't buy again.

I always burn a new CD to take along cuz if the original gets scratched, sometimes when you rip it on to a computer it's all choppy
but I got an iPod now so I don't take any CD's

Not me, but my cousin has... She had all her CD's in her car and they got stolen. Then she replaced all her 200+ CD's - and they got stolen again. She was in the process of buying them all again when she told me this. But that was like 2 years ago, I'm sure she has replaced all her CD's and got them stolen again by now.

I've never had any stolen... I have roughly 1000 OG CD's.
I always tried to keep CD-R's in the car from day 1... and now i have an MP3 CD player.. so I can fit about 5 albums on a CDR and the headunit shows me track names while they're playing.
I ran out of space at home, but i'm decorating and will be putting up new shelves that can hold my whole collection.. I plan to catalogue it (helps finding albums i'm missing too!) and also to rip the whole lot.. So I rarely play from the originals so they stay in good condition.

well i'm already a huge part of the way through ripping the ones i listen to often + ones that are rare ;)
see.. at work i listen to mp3s all day so i';m not carrying my CDs back n forth.. plus as i mentioned my car takes mp3 cd disks with 5 or 6 albums on.. as this has been the case for years i've already ripped a lot of my collection for those purposes.
so i get a cd in the post, i bring it to work the same/next day depending if i catch the post.. listen to it and rip it at work.. then ftp the rip back to one of my home computers which holds all my albums/videos etc..

the only cds i get stolen are my burnt ones..and my friends steal em...i'd be in there car and they be bumping MY burnt cd. Mutha fuckas...
