Title: Jayo Felony Speaks On New Deal
Post by: Word Is Bond on August 08, 2005, 10:29:32 AM
Jayo felony says in a new interview, he's about to sign a major deal.

BallerStatus.net: As far as your music, fans will have to wait for your official album to drop. But will you be dropping any mixtapes or street albums, so people can get a taste of what Jayo Felony has been doing?

Jayo Felony: Fo sho, I got a mixtape coming out in the Fall. I'm making it right now as we speak; it's gonna be off the hook. It's gonna let muthaf--kas know my new affiliation with the people I'm about to be dealing with -- letting the rabbit out the bag on that level. Once it's out there, it's out there. It's definitely going down. I'm looking forward to being apart of the situation I'm about to be apart of, and finally being able to be heard, and having that machine behind me. Regardless if the fans will have to wait a few more months for my album, I know it's gonna be done right, so I can give the fans what they want. The anticipation is gonna be there, and I'll finally be able to be heard by the masses and have that big machine behind me.

Dope for him if he is on G UNIT but the only thing I'm worry about is the release date. After Olivia, Banks,Buck, mobb, Spider, MOP there will be a long time to wait .

I won't buy his album because I don't want to put money in 50's pockets, but I'll probably buy his mixtape.

And:
letting the rabbit out the bag

I don't want to seem like a nerd, but I write professionally, and he really doesn't know his cliches.

Man if you are running a big label you dont need to wait months between putting out albums.

Interscope doesn't want drop 2 albums in the same time so.... Look at this year lots of albums were scheduled to come out, result: 2 albums in 8 months .

Also if Jayo signs with G-unit than who gives a fuck it's more power to him. It's gonna put San Diego on the map even more. Jayo felony can still rap his ass off can't he? As long as his album is good then it's all gravy train. Look at Game, he signed to G-unit but i still bought his album. I even bought 50's album and it's not that bad. I also bought Yuk's album and it's good too. So what?

wtf, a mixtape in the fall?  are you kidding me?  how many times is this shit gonna get pushed back?

My prediction:

it gets pushed back again and again and again, and then jayo says fuck that label.  and then about a year from now he drops it independently.
