Co-Star Tyrese describes film as 'L.A.-West-Coast-we-back-in-the-streets story.'
Game
He's already completed The Documentary — so now it's time for a feature. Game has signed on to play a vicious criminal leader named Meat in the forthcoming "Waist Deep."
The film, an urban action-thriller written and directed by
Vondie Curtis-Hall ("Redemption," "Gridlock'd," and, er, "Glitter"), already features Tyrese, Meagan Good and Larenz Tate.
"Waist Deep" follows the story of ex-con O2 (Tyrese), who is trying to go straight for the sake of his son. But like so many celluloid ex-cons before him, he's forced to go outside the law one more time, and with good reason: Meat (Game) has carjacked and kidnapped O2's son.
O2's cousin (Tate) is caught between two worlds and proves to be little help, so Coco (Good), a street-smart hustler, steps in. Of course, with an underworld plotline and a woman on the scene, you can expect "Waist Deep" to evoke more than a little "Bonnie and Clyde" romanticism.
Or, to let Tyrese explain the movie in his own words: "It's gonna be an 'L.A.-West-Coast-we-back-in-the-streets' story."
Game made his cinematic debut earlier this year in "Millionaire Boys Club" (see "Game Calls His First Onscreen Sex Scene 'Rough And Rugged' ").

Really? well i recommend that you go rent Juice, Poetic Justice, or Gang Related and see Pac act because he was really good, Probably the only REALLY good rapper/actor. He plays his roles so well, especially in Juice, It's Unbelievable!

"It's gonna be an 'L.A.-West-Coast-we-back-in-the-streets' story." - what the fuck does that mean? ::)
-
Sounds like the action version of Baby Boy, with Game replacing Snoop.
-
Sounds good to me...not some cheap low-budget type of movie: Vondie Curtis Hall directing it and co-starring Larenz Tate? That's pretty big for a rapper who hasn't even proved himself on the big screen...
