I want to hear the full in CDQ but I think it's decent...one of Storch's better productions as of late. I think it could get play out here but probably not real heavy on a nat'l level though. Better than the other shit that's on the radio.

i love this song

It's a whatever song, especially for somebody with Crooked's talent. IF it really is a "first single" as "How we do" was for Game, or how "In da club" or even "Wanksta" was for 50, then hell nah, this shit's horrible to be a representative of what Crook can do. I know he's not a "commercial rapper" as most say, and many are scared he'll "dumb down" his raps for the audience, but this song is just not doin anything for me like that. Also, I'm not really feelin how it's supposed to sound like a Down South song, and how he announces all the down south cities just to get their support on it, but it's supposed to be his first single and it's called Cali Boyz. People down south will be on it a lil, but not like they'd want them to be.

Sure he is commercial.
First the song with Sisqo, then Boom Boom Clap, and now Cali Boyz.
I'm sure Crooked will ditch most of his limited fanbase to sell some records, or maybe to even actually give out a record, but then again: who wouldn't ?

the song is allright

Song is dope to me...
-
probably the first crooked i song i heard that i didnt really like (and i have most of his shit from westconastra mixtape to say hi to the bad guy bootleg to 19th street compilations)
-
