stuuuuuuuuupid assssssss, anyone who thought this was real BEFORE they opened it is an idiot

Would be a great deal though for both teams, as LeBron probably won't re-sign with the Cavs when he becomes a free agent next year.

Lakers ain't that stupid...LeBron could end up a McGrady, a Vince, a Penny, a Hill. Kobe's already a Jordan, a Magic, a Larry, a West.

Kobe is good and very talented but unlike Jordan, Magic, Bird and West he doesn't make the player's around him better. You know what you're going to get from him but I wouldn't put him in a class with those players, not yet at least.

I wouldn't say that. Kobe's a great mentor...Caron Butler, Chucky Atkins, Jumain Jones, Tierre Brown, and Chris Mihm all had better seasons playing with Kobe. :-X

Holy shit your already puttin Kobe up to Hall of Fame legend staus? Magic,Bird,Jordan?...Wow.

Ummm, he's already been there...Kobe is obviously going to go down in the hall of fame when his career resumes. That's somehow a surprise to you?

He's on that level right now? lol. It's your right to think what ever you want but its way to early to put him on the same level as players like Magic,Bird and jordan imo. Love and rep your team but god damn...

I'm a huge Laker fan but I wouldn't say all that. Lebron is already doin a lot that Penny, T-Mac, and Vince weren't anywhere near doin in their first two years, especially wit T-Mac. Kobe has a LOT to do before he's considered a Jordan, Magic, Larry, or West.

20 years from now, we'll be looking for new people who'll fit into the greatest NBA players of all time. In 20 years we'll be saying
"there will never be another Kobe" and "that new forward from UCLA won't ever reach Duncan status"...Kobe already has a spot reserved for him in the hall of fame...If his career were to end today, he would have more accomplishments under his belt than most of the players who made the "50 greatest players" list...If he's not going to be mentioned under the same breath as the Larry Birds and Magic Johnsons by the end of his career, don't call me a weedsmoker... 8)

I wouldn't say that...You never know where LeBron's career is headed. A lot of players (like some of those mentioned) have had excellent seasons with bad teams...The same thing LeBron is doing. He couldn't make the playoffs with an all-star center on his team. I'll be damned if the Cavs with Kobe replacing LeBron wouldn't have made the playoffs in the EAST last season... :-\

Im not saying he will never reach that level im just saying its a little premature just yet.

You make it sound as though Illgauskas is a dominant force in the paint. Lets be real, the reason he made the All-Star team is that the NBA is short of dominant centers at the moment. Hes' a 30 yr old player with a 50 year old body. No one is confusing him with the Duncans or the Oneals.
-
kobe is a 3 time champion..just like larry bird..& like the other guy said kobe has accomplish more @ the age of 27 then some of the 50 greatest players
and we all know kobe is going to put up #'s for the next 8 years ad his 3 straight championships=hall of fame

Ilgauskas, Mihm...Ilgauskas, Mihm...Hmmmm? Fact is, LeBron had some talent around him...He couldn't take advantage of it though...PeACe

Kobe Bryant averaged 22.6 pts, 4.4 assists and 4.8 rebounds, shooting .434 from 2pts, .323 from 3pts and .792 from FT, in 119 NBA Play Offs games. LeBron has probably watched them on TV. End of the topic.

I declare peace now. I won't argue aggressively on WCC no more for a while. I change my nick.
Here's a cool hook-up, for a start: http://s37.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=05SB2TTXUZJFE1BGX858OZZVQ3
