those are by far not the worst pics I´ve seen, but I didn´t find any better ones on the internet. However, we (Switzerland) just had two days of rain storms, mud slides and floods...Rivers are either brown or in people´s basements at the moments, villages have been evacuated, people killed..........I´m glad I don´t live in the mountains, cause it´s a lot worse there. Where I´m at, shit is pretty much harmless but inner Switzerland (the Alps) just got fucked up. You don´t even get past the mountains by train now, im many places not even by car.
This summer was so shitty this is just the highlight, but we had a cool, rainy summer round here. I´m glad I spent some time in Italy...so I was just wondering, how was everybody else´s summer? Am I the only one experiencing all this shit?

yep it's very sad , Portugal isn't in a good situation too, plus with all these crashes plains it's a bad summer. RIP to all the victims

Yeah, parts of Belgium (including my neighbourhood) got flooded begin July. But it wasn't as bad as in Switzerland though...damn.
The weather's been fucked up this summer. Perhaps only 15 full sunny days in total...that's it. All the rest were cloudy/rainy days. I hate that...especially during the summer.
Other than that, I've just been chilling. Went to Gran Canaria for a week. Went working for a while too. Helping my parents redecorate our house, helping clean up the garden...stuff like that.
My 2nd year at university starts September 15th, so I got a few more weeks left.

and to everybody else, I guess it was especially Europe this time...northern and middle europe though, cause Italy and the Ticino (the part of Switzerland that´s south of the Alps and hence has a mediterranean climate) were nice as always, 85-105/30-40 degrees, sunny & dry, etc. Saved my summer, weather-wise

lol, it´s not that simple. Honestly, the Swiss climate is probably one of the most unpredictable worldwide. We´ve got everything from below-zero (talking Farenheit) to 108...on July 23rd eg, you could have 96 or 52, both is possible...we´ve got below-50 days in the middle of summer and above-65 ones in February. No shit, it´s pretty weird...of course, there´s no snow in summer and no 90 degrees in winter, but you really can´t know what you´re gonna get

yeah my summer was great overall, just when I was around Zurich 80% of the time the weather sucked....
and flamboyant, look, you can listen to music without knowing all the terminology related to it...You can watch a sport you don´t know all the rules to on TV and enjoy it, too. Matter of fact, nobody knows ALL terminology and ALL expressions in Ebonics....that Europeans, like me and many others on here, don´t have that language around them all the time is only natural. Saying we´re "on some L7 shit" cause of that proves how mature and intelligent you are...it´s like saying you´re on some wellfare shit cause you´re a black American. Same here man... the western parts of Austria are a mess righ now... there are whole towns right now that are flooded.. some don´t even have electricity and phones don´t work either... Some people can´t even get out of their towns cause the roads and railroads are swept away and shit... There are people that lost their homes and all their belongings for the 2(!!) and 3(!!) times (cause years ago something similar happened)... This is majorly fucked up... As of now, as far as I know at least, in Austria 3 people died and in Switzerland I read that it were 6... don´t know about south Germany....

Also, it´s strange, Switzerland is such a tiny country, but I never really "witnessed" anything myself, it was just rainy weather, cause right here (a few miles north of Zurich, Winterthur) nothing really happened. But southwest of us, all hell has broken loose and as I see, in the south east and Austria too. I know about 4 deads, but I heard that a while ago, and while up here, I´m right now enjoying a sunny day which is, despite the cool temperatures, something special this summer, people just 40 miles south are still struggling to save their belongings I guess. Pretty strange
