I bought this album a few days ago...and I'm glad I did. Very soulful album, definitely not that typical teeny-bopper R&B bullshit that you hear nowadays.
He's coming to Belgium September 16th, and I think I'll order my tickets tomorrow. Has anyone else seen him live yet? Worth the money?
"Baby when I used to love youuuuuuu" ;D

naw the tickets sold out real quick when he came to stckholm..ive seen alot of live footage from him though and he makes good performances..imo its def worth the money..
btw favourite track is "She dont have to know" which one is yours?

Heard his live shows are great - his performance on that live Kanye bootleg was amazing...
... thought the album was average, not worth the hype around it (love the Kanye quote on the album case sticker: "John Legend is the future of music" lol) I didn't like the way it was sequenced - seemed like they insisted on one half having the hip-hop beats and then let John do his own thing for the second half - ended up sounding like two unfinished albums rather than one cohesive album to me... :-\
Two best tracks: 'I Can Change' and 'Refuge (When It's Cold Outside)'.

i love that track Refuge (When It's Cold Outside).....

You got a point there. Some of the beats sound just that: they're beats, meant for Hip-Hop music. I mean, John sounds good on them, but I would have preferred to hear him singing on his own compositions which aren't really Hip-Hop orientated.
Favorite song? I guess that would have to be "Refuge (When It's Cold Outside") (I caught myself singing along with it while I was cleaning the dishes... ;D ). I like "Ordinary People" a lot too...no bass line, no drums, just a piano. Sounds wonderful.
