I donno if there has been a thread that was the exact same as this....but list the songs people usually figure Dre produced, but that he didn't produce or co-produce. If he mixed it, then that's coo. Usually, these are songs from artists who always work with him, or that he was rappin on.

Nah, Dre did the remix to it but that's it.
-

Yea it's in Scratch with Just Blaze on it. That list was weak to me.

So did Dre do Ghetto Fab, or not....?
officially its creditted to Buddha..
there is a rumour its a song dre took from death row sessions called "ghetto tango"..
there is also a leaked snippet of Ras rapping something similar to Dre's verse
supposedly from a solo version of it.. but its never leaked
-
Damn....did Daz and the other fools[ Buddha,Glove,Sneed] lose access to top notch equipment after Dre dumped them? They were all comparable to Dre at one time.

The Message
-
Bitch Niggaz & What's The Difference are produced by Dre & Mel-Man according to the 2001 booklet.
I guess these can be added...
Snoop Dogg "Ready 2 Ryde"
50 Cent "P.I.M.P."
Shaunta "California" ( for real, who produced this song. It's fire )
-
nah mel man solo trust me check the writing credits

Word, I know the credits don't list Dre's name on those two tracks, but I just find it real hard to believe that Mel-Man produced those 2 tracks by himself. If that was the case, then why not Dre give him full credits instead of just the publishing? I figured since they had "All tracks produced by Dr. Dre & Mel-Man" that they teamed up together through the whole album.
-
^^ok we understand man! :D
-
LOL, I just noticed I posted the shit like 3 times. My bad! 8)
-
Xzibit's "Front 2 Back" has a Dre feel to it too...
-
Snoop Dogg - "Y'all Gone Miss Me"
-

In a recent XXL interview, Rockwilder said that he jacked the lolo sound effects from Chronic 2001's intro, and that when Dre heard it he was real cool with it, even questioning why he didn't use the sound effects in a beat himself.
-
I have a question about Ghetto Fabulous. Isn't the beat the same as the part of the "Been There Done That" video where Dr. Dre is doing the tango?
Ghetto Fabulous has Dre's blueprint all over it, it's hard to believe he had nothing to do with that beat, especially since it sounds like that Tango portion of the video.
-
Yeah, i remember there being a post about that Ghetto Fabulous, i remember there being a conversation on IRC about between seer and nino? He said Buddha got credit for "legal reasons" correct me if i'm wrong seer ;)
-
IMO, the ''Ghetto Fabulous'' beat ain't that great anyway...and are Stu-B-Doo and Buddha the same producer, since its credited to the former in my copy? If so, I never knew that...guess its the same as Battlecat being credited as B-Sharp (eg: the 213 album) occasionally?
-
Well Stu-B-Doo did Ghetto Fab and i'm 95% sure he ain't Buddha. And the rest it seems like your either deaf or clueless motherfuckas when it comes to Dre's shit. Dre has said on numerous times Teddy Riley did No Diggity and 2Pac has said Toss It Up was stolen from a certain famous producer numerous times.
-
yeah hittman2001.. we were talking about the rumour...
whichever way.. that shits virtually 100% a sample anyways...
-
Snoop Dogg - "Y'all Gone Miss Me"

Anybody got the Rat-Tat-Tat OG?
-
Came Up - Stat Quo feat. Obie Trice, 50 Cent.. wasnt dre, but still a crazy beat

We can now add "Live By The Gun". Focus did that track.
