To be honest Nas called me around the time my grandmother
died and he said what he had to say
about our differences and that he wants to put
it aside etc. I let him talk and for the 1st time he sounded
sincere. But me and son will meet up face to face soon
and then decide whats good but he do wanna
fuck with me because we got history! (Unlike others, stans etc)
Regardless of differences I always said he was my man
and a good artist I just didnt like how he was movin!
I spoke to everybody recently its fucked up that we
went at each other but thats life. I know hip hop wants me and Nas to do something
because EVERYBODY says it would be ILL. SO I ask you
what would you do if you were in my shoes?

straight from mega on his web site.... if true this great news. Nas and mega got chemistry on the mic like nas an az do. I got this one unreleased track with nas an mega called goodfellas and it makes you wonder what could of been, hopefully this truce last long enough to get out a couple of tracks.

sounds like good news.
-
That's dope, much rather hear them collaborate then have em beef.

nothing to add. Cormega is in my top 5 of severly underrated MCīs and Nas, well, Nas is in my top 3 of MCīs probably. If this is true, I can co-sign on what Mack said
-
yup... maybe a return for the firm then?

I donīt need no Foxy, AZ (ok him maybe), let alone Nature. Nas & Cormega = dopeness

Yeah i didnt partically like them... but did put out 1 or 2 good tracks, remember that desperarado tune being pretty dope wit canibus in... and yeah Nas & Cormega would take it too another level if they hooked up again... Cormegas "The Realest" album was pretty dope back in the day...

yeah, not saying Firm had no potential, but the album sucked and Nas & Cormega as a duo shit all over them teaming up with Foxy, Nature and even AZ
yeah, Cormegaīs solo stuff is good, the best of all is "The True Meaning", if you havenīt heard that you gotta check it out...more than half of it is flawless IMO

No way. If you read that thread Mega said no chance that would happen.
-
Cormega brings that true essence of hip-hop out on his songs, he's one of the illest in the game.
Hooking up with Nas for a song or two will be cool, they will both compete against each other verses, coming with thier Ace game.
-
Nas needs some backing too. If he ever beefs with G-Unit, 50 is not like Jay who wanted to go one on one. 50 will bring everything. Mega, AZ, Quran and Nas could kill them.
Music wise, I think it's the making of something classic. Nas seems to be doing what's good for music, he needs to patch up his Braveheart ties, and things will be popping for one of the greatest ever.
-
good thing fo Corm's career

He already has Bravehearts and Nashawn, but then again........yeah.

i hope he go for it. Even if i dont like Nas since his last 2 albums, I think he could help Cormega blow up and boost his career

Yeah both of them teaming up can help their careers, especiallyCormega's cos he'll get tha beats, air time and acknowledgement he deserves.. like someone else said he's been slept on far too long..

It would be crazy if nas squashed the beef wit lake too
Nas
Mega
Lake
Az
Quan
the firm 05 mayb?
-
great news :)
-
Yeah this would be the perfect time for the firm with out foxy.just mega, nas, and az,add on QUON....that shit would be nice. 8)
-
A full length Firm album with Cormega/nas etc...very unlikely.
For a start no major label would really want to back it.
Without Dr Dre overseeing it like last time, forget about it.
That firm project is done n dusted.

Nashawn and Horse would beat the living shit outta the entire G-Unit(including Mobb Deep & M.O.P.). and Nas would serve the entire clique by himself so lyrically he doesnīt need any help and Nas already fathered Mobb Deep on a couple of songs.
