He's just ass out on the whole thing, before he was a movie star, back when he was rockin' the jheri curl and had so much fucking attitude. He wrote a lot of the songs when he was still with NWA, so to me it still had that kinda feel whereas his later albums don't. To me it just has a kind of realism that no other album does. It's just like he went out on his front porch and wrote the whole album and then went and recorded it, like a snapshot of that certain period. And even the fucking Source gave it 5 mics (the first 5 mic West Coast record?)
