damn that was a dope album, Ive heard alot of reasons why this never officially dropped on aftermath including...
it was too hard for dre's new " gangsta rap is dead" campaign after big and pac got killed.
Jimmy Iovene just didnt care for the album
Dre and Tee fell out over financial matters.
I believe it had more to do with the current climate in rap back in 1997 and the fact that the source gave it a jacked up review didnt help either.
Step on by is a dope ass track...whos doing the vocals? sounds alot like Mary J

I heard it was being re-released...that album's heat though, it's one of my favorite King T albums...

People were questioning Dre's skills after he left Death Row. "Dr. Dre Presents...." was looked at as a flop (even tho it went plat.), so there was a lot riding on the King T album. It didn't get great reviews, so they put it on the shelf.

bad reviews from who cus they obvisously dont know a good album when they listen to one. did they have a source review?
