R.I.P. Pac, you made great music which has become madly overated and spawned so many dickriders. Still one of the greatest though.
-
Is it just me, or is it somewhat retarded to start an anniversary thread more than a week before the actual anniversary?

"definently one of the realest ever creatively" - Fat Joe
and that pretty much sums up how i feel about Pac, R.I.P. to one of the few artists that had a serious message in his music and still was able to push a lot of units. and Elevz i can what you´re sayin but fuck it, why not keep this shit rolling for a couple of weeks<? it´s better to have one thread where peeps can post about Pac instead of haivin 5-6 different threads on the front page.

R.I.P 2pac, the Greatest rap artist of all time and also the greatest rapper/actor in film. I want to talk about 2pac's legacy to the hip-hop film industry, and how much we miss him today.
I want to add that Pac wasn't just a great rap artist but Pac was is a legend for all the things he did from poetry to acting, the movie "Jiuce" one of the greatest hip-hop movies they made, that era had alot of good ones, I think "Jason's Lyric", "Above The Rim", and "Menace 2 Society" were three of the other great hip-hop influenced movies from the 90's era, but "Jiuce" had a greater focus on the music and lifestyle.
They don't make hip-hop movies like that anymore, the industry is so watered down in materialism that today they put out B.S. like "Carmen the Hip-Hopopera"--and that stupid Ja Rule and Pras movie and countless others that have been too easily forgotten, these movies are a disgrace to what hip-hop culture, was when 2pac was alive. They can't even depend on real hip-hop to carry a movie anymore, they have to put in some soft porn artist like Beyonce or Jessica Alba to sell the movie. There are exceptions like "8 Mile" and possibly 50 Cents new movie, but still, you can't compare any of that to those movies produced in the early 90's, I'd even take a late 90's movie like "I'm Bout It" or "Belly" over the garbage they put out today.
The game ain't been the same ever since 2pac was laid to rest.

"If I die let the world understand why, search in my eye hate to see a black man cry"
Greatest of all time hands down, no one else even comes close. R.I.P. his music will live FOREVER.

2pac was a musical genoius, he had songs for all types of moods and his music got me through some tough times, he was the most consisten rapper and the only rapper that got better and better after every release. Knowing he died at his peak is scary because makavelli is a work of art and thinking he coduv'e come out with something even greater than that is crazy but it woud've been done if he had another year or so. Hands down the Greatest Rapper to ever grace this earth. R.I.P. Tupac Shakur, a Poet, Prophet and THE Icon of Hip Hop.

Damn I still can't believe it's been 9 years. I guess with his old music aswell as the shit still being released it don't seem that long. His haters still can't deny the impact he has had in not only rap but music altogether aswell as on alot of peoples lives.
