I'm selling a printer on a classified ads website and this guy, "John Smith" sent me this e-mail regarding it.
Dear seller, Let me introduce myself to you, i am JOHN SMITH a manager and i am also the owner of Sumax Group Of Companie, Sir/Ma, i am glad to tell you that i am really pleased and impressed in your item placed on this site,and i will love to purchase this goods from you,i will be very happy if you are willing to sell it to me, but i am not buying it for myself, i want to buy it for my daughter in-law which is in South African as a project material. Sir/Ma, i have made up my mind to offer you extra amount for any inconviniency because i want it to get to him next week . And i will also like handle the shipment if you dont you mind. I will be sending you the money via westernunionbidpayment OR moneygram OR united postal services.So i will await your quick responce about shipment& payment, IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN SELLING TO ME, PLEASE KINDLY MAIL ME THROUGH MY EMAIL ADRESS BACK
This is the second e-mail like this I've received. The other one was very similar, they want to purchase it for a friend in Africa. I sent them an e-mail back but got no response. What do you think these fuckers up are to?

definitely bullshit.
1. his name. what the fuck. "john smith", that's like john doe. everybody and their moma is called john smith.
2. his writing is just bad, "you,i", that's how you can write on a message board but not when you try to depict yourself as a trustworthy person lol. plus the caps lol. and overall just weird as fuck. "responce" etc.
My advise: Stay away from that and/or sue them 8)

Why does he refer to you as "seller", and also to "the goods" or "item" if he knows what you are selling... rhetoric.
Makes no sense to tell his life story/situation either, obviously just to gain confidence.
