Title: Anyone do Gaffiti Art?
Post by: Top-Dogg2001 on April 11, 2001, 08:28:16 PM: I am a fan of graffiti art. (another element of hip hop). I used to draw alot when I was younger, but I don't draw alot now. I wonder if anyone on this board does grafiti art. Does anyone draw pictures of there artist or anything. When I went to paris back in the november. The graffiti was crazy. I was shocked that they did that much graffiti. They are really embracing this part of hip hop.

art was everywhere,,,graffiti,,traditional,,it was cool,,,i remember this big revolver with the barrel tied in a knot,,it was cool,,,also alot of pot leave painted everywhere,,,
i was into it when i was 15 and 16,,,i lived in texas at the time,,,we tagged alot of shit,,,i can still do it,,,,i always draw when im bored,,,when i was in school my teachers would b pissed off because my worksheets had a bunch of shit covering them,,,and no work...i think alot of the graffiti is beautifull..alot of people dont like it,,,i see no problem with it,,,on old buildings and the like.......it gives the kids something worthwhile to do with themselves,,positive,,,express yourself :)

theres an underpass near here thats kind of the towns gallery - always new pieces there.

i got a few graf books, and i just found (and burnt) a vcd of the whole of the classic 1984 movie 'beat street' in irc - we're watching that with some beers later once some friends come over LOL
