More bad luck is coming Marion "Suge" Knight's way. Just days after being shot in the leg at a Miami VMAs pre-party, Knight's assets have been frozen in a ruling that favors an imprisoned drug dealer, who wants half of a $107 million court ruling awarded to his wife, according to the Associated Press.
Monterey County Superior Court Judge Adrienne M. Grover issued the ruling to freeze Knight's assets on August 29.
Back in March, a Los Angeles judge ordered Knight and Death Row Records to pay $107 million to Lydia Harris, wife of convicted drug dealer Michael "Harry O" Harris, who claims she helped start the record label and is owed money.
Michael Harris, who is currently serving a 28-year sentence at San Quentin State Prison, filed for divorce in June when he learned his wife was in settlement negotiations with Knight, said his attorney Steven M. Goldberg.
"She was trying to settle separately and cut him off the $107 million award," Goldberg told the AP.
Michael Harris claims he put up $1.5 million in 1991 from prison to help start the label -- a contention Knight has repeatedly denied.
