i like  soopaflys beats  better .   they hit  HARDER !  

battlecat is the shit no doubt .  but he uses  that  same  drum  snare  all the time.  but he is dope with the keyboard.

but  yeah  i  look  at all the beats  soopafly has done  and   i dont think he  has made  1   shitty  beat .  they   all  HIT HARD!

i aint of fan of em. but they are both tyte, soopafly is tyte when you wanna hear some hard boundin gangsta shit. battlecat is tyte when you wanna hear some comercial shit. although now, all battlecats beats have a soft ass fake gangsta sound in em.

Sometimes soopafly comes tight but sometimes his beats are too gangsta not musical enough, and battle cat can make a real tight beat and the next track is kinda wack, but I would have to say battlecat overall he has classics under his belt. dont believe me...
"Gd up", "we can freak it", "I luv it", plust "do you wanna roll" was blowin up the air waves in L.A, and dont forget he produced Domino's first hit "ghetto jam" so I gotta go with CAT.  

But hey on the low Fred Wreck is better than both of them. that muthafucka is so dope he can make any kinda beat. all the shit he did for kurupt was bangin. dont believe me... "girls all pause", "bring back that g shit", and "callin out names"

Soopafly raps, he had an independent album drop, "Dat Whoopty Whoop."  He's on mad D.P.G. releases.  Battlecat doesn't rap at all.

yeah  Soopa  has alot of tracks that he   co-produced.   He worked the keyboards   on   "Respect"  from  dogg food album. he has helped out on alot of dope tracks.

Soopafly played keyboards for Death Row producers before he turned producer.  He came in on "Murder Was The Case" in '94.

I would have to go with Soopafly.  His beats range from gangsta.. to pimpin.  

Example: Loosen Control on the pimp side.. and Underestimated by Dru on the gangsta side.

Battlecat is dope.. but alot of his beats have that same sound / feel to them.

I like Battlecat the better of those 2.
Soopa might be funky, but he's often a little boring, and doesn't have that much variation in his beats.
Battlecat might not have much variation neither, but he's tight sometimes.
