College Dropout was better because the sound was more diverse than Trauma. Trauma shits all over Late Registration though.

i didnt want to compare it to late rego, coz i havent really listened to it enough yet, so i dont know... but at this stage trauma is better than late rego...

im comparing quik to kanye, because i think they probably have the best sounding beats out at the moment...

Come to think of it though, Kanye had a few lame tracks on Dropout like The Workout Plan and some boring wack ass skits while Trauma it pretty much filler and skit free.

I liked Trauma more. College Dropout was good though but it didn't have much replay value for me. I think the radio saturation kind of hurt as I tired of hearing the songs all the time.

I think it's a good comparison. They're both way more well rounded as producers than anyone else out there. I can definitely see similarities between the two with how they approach music in general.

"College Dropout" was cool, but "Trauma" is better IMO. I skip most of the songs on CD. I only skip 2 or 3 songs on "Trauma".

Then you didnt listen close enough. Fandango to me is easily the worst song on the record. Not completely bad though, even with faggot ass b real on the song i couldnt dislike it as much as i thought I would.

To me its the opposite....

The LEAST songs on TRAUMA are Fandango and California. They still dope though. I dont skip them...


Trauma shits on College Dropout if take a close listen to both...
Truama is alot more advanced and their are no fillers or skiits. College Dropout is dope but it has some wack songs...

IMO kayne west is overated...his shit is repetive and annoying after a while...his beats sounds like some sped up chipmunk shit sometimes

i vote "Trauma" only because the skits annoyed the shit out of me, with College Dropout, and the singles were REAL played out before they came out so i was sick of the videos and singles before they came out..."LAte Registration" production wise is brilliant, and theyre is some catchy lines and verses, hooks are good, but Kanye is not an interesting rapper to me...the production is flawless though...and his production on Common's album is dope as shit too

For some reason...Quik's album really hasnt had many standouts to me...

I mean...Balance and Options damn near every track i liked, especially Change The Game Ft. Mausberg.

That beat i can listen to over and over again...

What u think of that song?

I noticed that lot of people in this fourm overrate the fuck outta the trauma album...exactly whats so special about it? IMO it has some of the worst production i've heard from a quik album..half of the beats sound all same...sounds like he didnt even bother putting much effort into it...and i'm a big fan of quik...i liked all his albums but this one is just dissapointing...

and how the fuck can you compare these 2 albums? its 2 different types of music...

i havenīt even heard Trauma yet coz i wonīt download it and the stores over here wonīt get it until 2 weeks. so i canīt really answer this question coz for once iīm gonna go out and support a great artist.

I'd Say Trauma
I liked College Dropout, but honestly to me, it wasnt THAT good as people proclaimed it to be...I didn't get it at first, then I heard all this hype, definitley a good solid album, but not as great as everyone makes it out to be. dont get me wrong. kanye definitley has talent and showed it on that album, but the Trauma is a better album, the way he makes things sounds, the musical instruments in there
