I Got a PS2 and a XBOX.. but i wanna get a Dreamcast just for the hell of it... Any Of U Got It? An How Is it?....
-
One of the most underrated machines ever. A load of classic games on there, I'd definitely pick one up considering how cheap they are going for these days (around £15-20 in the UK second hand).
-
yea soul caliber was class on the DC
controller was a twat though, otherwise a decent console
-
The system is loud as hell. But the graphics and gameplay is pretty good.
-
I loved the dreamcast. Had classic games.

Yeah, I remember buying the console purely for this game :o
-
Some of the games on the dreamcast had better graphics than what the ps2 had when it first came out. I think they stopped making games for it because ppl bootlegged the hell out of the games because you didn't have to use a modchip or anything to play bootlegged discs on it.

DreamCast kicked ass. I loved the controllers too. The introduction to the 2k sports series was groundbreaking
-
it had great games on it and the arcade controller was the shit!

they stopped making games cuz of ps2's popularity...sales started goin down...

It was a good system, it still really holds up to the current systems well, the graphics are pretty nice considering the age of the system. The bootlegging problem killed them. Poor Sega, they fought Nintendo so hard for so long only to have to duck out like a bitch in the end there. 32X failed, Sega CD failed, Saturn failed, Dreamcast wasn't enough to save them.

yeah Virtual Tennis and Crazy Taxi were best games eva on the dreamcast ;D

I was thinking about getting this game:
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B0000488VT/qid=1127593166/sr=8-1/ref=pd_bbs_1/104-9269127-0532711?v=glance&s=videogames&n=507846
It looks funny as hell. You can teach the thing to be a smart ass.

^^ Hehe That SHyt Is Funny
-
oh yeah.. the other great thing about the dreamcast is that you can find games for hella cheap. quality-wise the games are just one step down from ps2 games as far as graphics are concerned.

I loved this machine. I still sometimes wish I had bought one back in the day. In a perfect world this machine would've been the king in sales at the time.

I never saw that game myself, but it was a cult classic. The narrator in it is Leonard Nimoy (Spock from Star Trek, FYI).
I saw a piece of news like a week ago that Sega was planning to bring the game back on the PS3.
