Born and bred in the Southern Cali streets of the San Fernando Valley, 23 year old Chicano lyricist Hectic Loke is invading the game with his sneaky word play and creative lyrics that paint pictures of real life. Having grown up in a dysfunctional family, the oldest of five, with no fatherly advice, Hectic was forced to grow up fast. Conditioned by the ghetto streets of the 818, Hectic tells it how it is composing that feel good West Coast Music, along with that war music of the battlefield. Free styling with his homies since 13 and officially grinding for the last 3 years with his independent label Valley Concept, this hungry MC is bound to leave a permanent scar on the industry.
We have four songs for you to preview off his Ghetto Harmonies Mixtape.
"No Gimmicks, Real Life, Real Lyrics, I Put My Whole Heart In This"
On "Real Life" Hectic opens up and tells the story of his teenagehood over dark-melodic keys.
Hectic - Real Life
"Ghetto Days" finds Hectic and crew reminiscing about coming up in the hood, wylin' out doin' dirt and what have you.
Hectic - Ghetto Days
Hectic brings another few emcees on board on the title track from their Ghetto Harmonies Mixtape.
"We Got It On And Crackin', Putting In All We Got Into This Rappin'"
Hectic - Ghetto Harmonies
"Cadillac Pimpin'" by the Atlanta based group YoungBloodz is the backdrop for what Hectic dubs "Into It."
