Tupac said in order for you to survive and make money in hiphop, "you gotta make music for the bitches". Now i'm thinking after all these years he's right. Most notable hiphop songs made are made for middle class white, black, hispanic females. Look at Dear Mama, Eminem makes all his shit about pop now. Biggie, look at most of his popular music. I'd say women determine the future of a rap artist. (Monetarily) Because us guys, base most music on lyrics. (We like lyricist). Women want a beat and some shit about how men like and want to do to them. Underground sound is not popular. Look at how many diss songs make it to video. It's always the pop shit. If I want to know about a certain rap artist, I have to go to this website, or allhiphop etc.... When I bring up "so and so got beef" women look at me like Huh!!! But they know about kanye's shit or dear mama and all that ole party shit. Just my opinion. Example, Ras Kass, chino xl, all awesome lyricist. But will probably never excel.

Yes.. That's also what made 2pac great though, we was able to apply to shallow no-clue-bout-hiphop-having-girls AND to hiphop-heads.
