Title: Young Hootie Video Interview!!!
Post by: SGV on September 24, 2005, 01:04:44 PM
Ya'll know who the Prince of Compton is! Larceny Ent.'s own Young Hootie stormed into the industry with his Young Compton mixtape. Juggling school and Hip Hop, Hootie is steadily making a name for himself as a key lyricist in the New West Movement. He hopped on the extended version of "All In The Same Gang 2005" recently and DubCNN had the chance to catch up with this new face on the West at Kingz Records in West Covina.

We chopped it up about the Young Compton mixtape, his next project Prince Of The Bity, his schooling, he showed us his favorite albums, and blessed us with a Freestyle. The music in the background is a little loud, but you can still hear Hootie just fine.

On a side note, Larceny Ent. has the only urban show on the podcast network. Check that out

Visit Kingz Records in West Covina (Today you can catch Rifleman of Project Blowed and Buckshot of Boot Camp Click doing an In-Store) for all your Hip Hop needs! Shouts to Junior for filming, Inspire for Editing, Hootie, Breezy and TK for coming through!

Yea I know that now. Im so used to the music being so loud that I have conversations and hear everything just fine when the volume is up so loud. That was my bad. Hopefully ya'll can hear it... If not, I'll work on something.

Nice interview...the music was indeed a bit too loud, but I understood most of the answers (not all of it though...which is a shame). Thanks for doing the interview!
