Title: "What You Say" beat ain't worth shit

"What You Say" is one of the most boring, monotonous beat I've heard for a long time from the Aftermath camp! You get tired of it after one listening... if it wasn't for the JD diss this would be even more boring! I don't think this track should end up on an album! Maybe that's why they already released it, and to get some controversy/publicity for the "Eminem Show"!? Who produced it? Dre, Em?

dunno who produced it, but i still think its tite. And yes the ebat is kinda simple. And maybe timberland did the beat.

I like the beat simple like y'all said, and i agree its probably a Dre beat - it doesn't really sound like a Timbo beat to me

The only thing that bugs me about the song is the chorus:
cuz what you say
is what you say
say what you say
how you say it
whenever you sayin it
just remember how you said it
when you was sprayin it
So who you playin with

But the lyrics are dope though

the beat might be simple but it fits the song damn near perfect. i thought it was tight as hell.

At first I didn't like it, but after a few listens I start to feel it.
And in no way is this a Timbaland-beat. Probably a Dre-beat, but it sounds like "Dre light", so I guess it could be Eminem.

i dont know but for some reason i think it sounds like they both could have coproduced it...but i doubt it...didnt seem like timbaland was in the studio with them for his vocals

i liked this beat quite a bit, thought it was dope

That beat is sick. "U Know" was an example of a boring Dre beat.
This Em joint is tight.
