I give it 3.5/5 stars. The album has a really nice east coast feel to it, and the beats are mostly sick as fuck, but i feel like Ras has stepped down his lyrics a bit, and i was disappointed that there weren't any concept songs (except for that "Write Where I left off", if that can be considered a concept track). That song "We Run the Streets" with Crooked, 40Glocc, Spider, and El Dogg is hard as fuck though, probably pulls the album .5 up, otherwise i'd give it a 3.0 stars. I dunno, i guess i was expecting a really sick album, but overall, i don't think this is better than Goldyn Chyld. Actually, in some ways it isn't as good, but it does sound more radio friendly. Any thoughts?

Basicly i agree with you .... i was a lil dissapointed although there still are some bangers on the album. My favourite is propably "You Aint Me".
But I think the Bootleg album "verbal Murder" was pretty dope almost as good as the 'real album' Institutionalized.

i'm feelin the new ras kass more than any of his other music. I think he came sick on every track and the beats are a helluva lot better than his albums have. This is the best release so far this year. Lyrically better than anything put out in a long time. Yeah, he didn't take it to that concious concept level but maybe a track or 2 like that he's savin for the album. He sounds like he slightly updated himself for the present time but not in a bad way. I think he improved.
