Yo this morning had to be the tightest day in radio in a long time....
On Big Boy's neiborhood...Dj Quik and fam blew the roof off the mutha..
An early morning concert live on the radio, doing classic cut's and a couple of collab's.
A collective of QUik favorites.
Hi-C did his classic "I'm not Not your puppet"....lol (took me wayyy back.
But the most special part was when "Dj Quik" dedicated a rhyme to his fallen protege "Mausberg".....that was a very deep moment. (it's his quotable on the new source mag)
And I only heard the first half.....yall' cause I had to do my thang.
Just wanted to share my morning made.....if anyone heard the whole thing holla bacc, and tell us what we missed.
Peace

Hi-C's first album is a personal favorite. That shit does bring back memories. "Sittin' In The Park" was my favorite track and "Froggy Style". I love how Tony C flipped them oldies samples. "I'm Your Puppet" was a classic fo sho.

They asked quik, who would he like to work with: Quik said, "i would love to put Jay-z and suga free on a song"! That would be the shizz-nit! fo' shizzle my nizzle, in a real way!!!!!!!!
