i thynk itz ok but i stil luv hiz old produktion.
-
I used to think his old style was better, but now I like his new style much better.
-
his old style was more memorable the new one is tight but not as memorable as his old style....compare....STRAIGHT OUTTA COMPTON to FORGOT ABOUT DRE.....G THANG to STILL DRE....DEEP COVER to B PLEASE....and so on...his old style wins
-
about the same IMO
his old style was more appealing but theres more effort in his new stuff wich i can appreciate
-
Dre's new style blows. His beats are boring, monotonous, and too simplistic. They dont stand out and will not hold up over time the way his earlier work does.
The sad thing is, I think Dre is going to have a negative influence on DJ Quik's new album. Supposedly, Quik is abandoning his classic sound to sound like Dre. God I hope that is not true.

I used to luv his lod shit cause it was the shit bacc then but now HipHop sound as Change and his new shit is tight

imma let you have your opinion... but
lol yeah that's why 2001 was on the chart longer than just about every current rap album, that's why they still play Next Episode , Still Dre, and others ,and every CREDIBLE artist wants to work with him and he is regarded by all the greats like issac hayes, G. Clinton, and THE man Quincy Jones

I agree.
Dre's better than ever, but he puts on auto-pilot sometimes.
I.E.
Str8 Westcoast - Standard Dre-beat, sounds unfinished to be Dre, even if it's dope. Just doesn't have that DRE-edge.
Your Wife - Typical Dre-beat, but still lacks sumthin even if it's dope. It's like Dre didn't use the regular weeks on these 2 tracks.
-
Experience brings improvement... Need i say more?
-
Yeah sometimes his beats sounds un-finished, examples:
Kill U - Eminem
Your Wife - Nate
Some L.A Niggaz
Remember me - Eminem
Ackrite - Hittman (un-finished, but it sounds dope as fuck!!!)Bitch Niggaz
But Str8 WestCoast does not sound un-finished to me, that shit is bangin!!! Dre uses so many different sounds in that song and it sounds good! thats what i call production-skills
Peace

I agree. Except, I think he had a few hits with his new style, but not enough. Damn near everything after ''2001'' sucked hard. I ain't worried about Quik because his new style is 10 times better than Dre's(even though Dre helped him). Quik will always be a better producer than him in my eyes.

he should use the fuckin WHISTLE! daamn lol how exited i was when i had the Mission Cleopatra Insturmental lol..

Recently I've been bumpin nuttin but Aftermath Dr. Dre. I'm lovin this style over his previous ones right now.
Peace
