Vote Bitches
As for me...check track 2 on doggystyle
-
G-Dub but you cant go wrong with either
-
That's tough. I enjoy Regulate more so yeah thats the better album.
-
safe and sound.
it didnt have 'regulate', 'this dj' or 'and ya dont stop', but it had 'something for the mood' 'safe and sound', 'dollas and sense'... every track is dope.
i.m.o 2 or 3 classic tracks cant compare to a classic album.
-
voted: Regulate... G-Funk Era
-
I honestly can't choose.
-
safe+sound...i always felt regulate was average at best
peace
-
Regulate IMO... I love both albums, but Warren didn't have a single skipper on the whole album, plus he had the classics (Regulate, This DJ, And Ya Don't Stop, Super Soul Sis)... that's a 6 of 5 album to me...
-

yup....Safe & Sound is alot better then Regulate...G Funk Era. I always felt Regulate was one of the most overated albums ever...DJ Quiks lyrics and flow kill Warren Gs. The beats are more diverse and advanced then G-Funk Era too....
-
Thats a difficult one. Personally i feel g funk era more.
-
vibe wise g-funk era is really great and I believe it is a classic album. At the same time thought I believe safe and sound is alot more musically advanced and diverse like 'machiavelli' said and I am more of the musical type. So I have to go with the quiksta, safe and sound.
-
Both incredible records, but I went with Warren.
-
here goes a vote i cant handle ,both enjoyable.
-
I really don't see the hype in the Regulate album. it's not even warrens best imo.
as for me, you gots to keep tha P in it 8)
-
love both of them so i voted on the butterfly tatoos r cool lmao! funy poll man!
-
both r dope.....
-
Regulate!
-
Both are dope albums to me and I can't choose
-
I think Safe+Sound is the best. That is just a classic.
Regulate is classic too, for some reason it only really sticks with me in periods

if sum1 put a knife up to my throat id go for safe and sound, hard to choose :-\
-
Incredibly hard to choose...but if I had to pick one, it would probably be Regulate.......Safe + Sound is juzt as amazing.
-
Please Get Out Of 95'
-
Regulate came out in 94
-
Both are good.. probably regulate though
-
Yea it's hard as hell to choose....overall Safe n Sound was a better album to me, but Warren G's standout tracks were better than everything on Safe and Sound. I might even have to hear em both straight through to choose. It was a few songs I don't really like too much on Warren's, at least now since it's 2005, but most of Quik's beats don't sound all that dated for it to be 10 years old. And I always listen to Safe n sound straight thru, I don't do that with Regulate. Still hard tho because Warren brought a new sound into the game...it didn't really sound like Dre even though it was influenced by him. He basically did to 80s music what Dre did with 70s music.

I would have to say Regulate. Safe and Sound has a couple of tracks that I skip but if I put Regulate in, I can play the whole thing without hitting skip.

mines the other way round , i dont skip anythin on safe and sound, where i usually skip super soul sis on regulate
-
Safe and Sound is tight all the way trough
-
I THINK SAFE AND SOUND HAS A SLIGHT EDGE OVER REGULATE

what tracks do you skip on safe and sound ?
-
I think I'm one of the few Quik fans that doesnt go crazy over Safe + Sound.
-
Easily Quik.
-
Regulate (the song) > any other song on Safe + Sound
-
Regulate (the song) > any other song on Safe + Sound
True but,
Dollars + Sense>>>>any other songs on G-Funk Era besides Regulate
Safe & Sound>>>>>any other songs on G-Funk Era besides Regulate
Summer Breeze>>>>>any other songs on G-Funk Era besides Regulate
Something 4 tha mood>>>>>any other songs on G-Funk Era besides Regulate
The fact is that Safe & Sound is alot more consistent and has more classic songs then G-Funk Era...
-
SAFE & SOUND IS BETTER.
KEEP TH EP IN IT FEATURING KAM IS THE BEST QUIK I EVER HEARD.
BESIDES TONITE.
-
I think I'm one of the few Quik fans that doesnt go crazy over Safe + Sound.
yea I just noticed that.
-
I made up my mind
Regulate > Safe and Sound
Super Soul Sis is amazing
that is all
-
Regulate (the song) > any other song on Safe + Sound
i concur with that... but that doesnt mean the album is better...
if you have an og copy of safe and sound, then its hard for me to believe you dont go crazy over it...
i played safe and sound after work one day, and this dude was playing pool, he is a producer, he's an old cunt, in his 50's but hes one of the best engineers in my city... he even has his own studio... well anyway, even he appreciates quik to the fullest, he hates hip-hop, but when he heard safe n sound he wanted a copy immediately, he said the production is like hes never heard before, said it was in genius...
pS. if i was to honestly and unbiasely compare safe n sound to any album in hip-hop, it would be compared to 'the chronic'... not a warren g album.
-
^yeah Safe + Sound should be compared to albums like The Chronic and Doggystyle not Regulate
-

For as much I like warren g, musically speaking I definitely agreed. I always saw 'safe and sound' to be on the same level as 'the chronic' production wise.
-
safe + sound.. not by much tho..
i would have said regulate if warren didnt say snoop's name much as he did..i know he ya boy in all..butdamn that shit was annoyin as hell...i was expectin snoop 2 be on the album much as he kept sayin that niggas name..not 2 mention..warren got outshined by his guest..
both albums r classics tho..and hit hard as hel
-
Safe and Sound, only track i skip is Don't You Eat It!
