Kirsten Dunst probably wasn't supposed to say anything, but in a recent interview with Zap2it, she revealed who we weill see as the villains in Spider-Man 3: Sandman and Venom.
"We have really great people though as the villains in this film, Thomas Haden Church and Topher Grace -- Venom and Sandman," says Kirsten Dunst while promoting her film "Elizabethtown."
"Maybe I wasn't supposed to say that," she says, checking with her rep, who assures her the information has already been released.
The "Interview with a Vampire" actress is a little shaky on the information at first, saying that Church would play Venom and Grace would take on Sandman, before reversing her claim when a journalist expresses disbelief. "It's the other way around. You're right," she concedes.
Dunst can be forgiven since she has yet to receive a script for the film that will begin shooting in January.
The real question, however, is are they going to do justice to the Venom character, and are they going to have Peter Parker don the black suit at first? Also, which is one Sandman, again?

im glad venom is in it.. im just not glad they're gonna go the ultimate spider-man router, but oh well.. atleast its venom. rumor has it though he won't be 'venom' until the end of the movie, so spiderman 4 will be venom as the enemy etc..

Can they replace Kirsten Dunst. That bitch hit the wall before she turned 30.

venom was that other spider guy, i havent seen the show for so long so i cant rememebr the terminology; but he was that thing that came from other space on the tv show in the rocket ship that had jamison's son onit.
as for sandman, i thot he was wrestler :-\

the venom symbiote was used by spider-man in the secret wars, then he brought it back to earth with him.. the cartoon origin has it coming back from outerspace since they couldnt do the secret wars on tv.. carnage comes from venom too, so you need a bit of venom before you can have carnage

I heard something before that the villian was to be Chameleon and Church and Grace were to be him at different points in the movie...Ultimate Spiderman would be better for Venom, an easier story, as Venom is created.oh well stll sounds good.

1) if i search sandman, ill end up findin more info on the wrestler

I know she did say this is her last Spider-man film unless they pay her a huge amount of cash for the next movie after #3.

yeah, thank god they put Venom in it...probably the best Spiderman villian. Im not surprised if they throw him in at the end. You could spend half of the movie explaining how he came about. I always wanted to see Venom and Morbius in a Spiderman movie. One thing is, if the two that are mentioned are the villians....where is Harry Osborne?! Isnt he supposed to be the HobGoblin?!

i think Hobgoblin and Green Goblin fought wit each other but then eventually allied themselvez, cant remember tho cause itz been a really long tyme since ive seen the cartoon

in the comic/cartoons/whatever .. Harry is the green goblin .. but in the movies he's going to become the Hobgoblin, since they don't want to re-use characters that have already been done. they don't stick to the proper origins anyway (organic webshooters?!) .. so it wont really matter
