Title: Cream
Post by: Lincoln on October 11, 2005, 07:40:31 AM
Not sure how many folks here are up on Cream, but if you are there's some huge news. First, Cream did some reunion shows at the Royal Albert Hall in May. Now, it seems that they are coming to Madison Square in a couple weeks, and there's a good chance they'll be coming to Toronto soon after. I might be living in a fantasy world but maybe this could mean a full scale reunion tour. I have to go to the Toronto one, if only to see Ginger Baker (possibly the greatest rock and roll drummer along with John Bonham).

Yeah I plan on picking that DVD up this week, possibly the live CD as well.

As a huge fan, I always hold hope for a full reunion, too bad that Ginger is in so much pain. He's way too talented.

yeah and since we are talking about C.R.E.A.M. fromt the wu tang...which version do you like better the album version or single edited version?....Me, I perfer the single version since its better mastered and the beat sounds more alive. The album version is just raw shit....

You're telling the truth, I picked them up the other day. I've watched it twice, it's incredible. Jack's voice is a bit different but still great, and Eric and Ginger are both still in prime. My only disapointment was the lack of harmonica, Jack only plays it like twice. Other than that excellent DVD. CD sounds great too.
