i listened to "The Hi-Life Hustle" n im very impressed by the production on this album. I remember readin a interview Dr Dre said he really liked hes shit n thats about everything i know about him. I really been sleepin on hes shit..i need all info u can give about him! who has he been producin fo etc..didnt find it in the Vault just credits for The Hi-Life hustle.

Hi-Cs got 2 other cds.... Skanless and Swing'n, both pretty tite but on Swing'n he kinda deepened his voice.. he also did the rappin voice for Chris Rock in the movie CB4.. he was suppose to be in a Hughs Brothers movie, i think it mite have been Menace II Society i think

I alwayz enjoyed tha Tony A tracks more, they had a dope azz chemestry...never really associated hi-c with quik in that sense as they do with sugafree when it comes to his solorecords..

I could've sword dude was Mexican when I first heard "puppet" back in '91. I don't know.
Skanless and Hi-Life hustle are both dope albums, I'd defintiely recommend both of them. I don't know what happened with Swangin', that album had maybe one or two good songs, that's it.

I got all the albums. Skanless is a straight classic with 'Leave My Curl Alone' , 'Sitting In The Park' , 'I'm Not Your Puppet' & '2 Skanless'. Great production from Tony A & Dj Quik. Swingin' also a classic with 'Got It Like That' , 'Fuck A 40 OZ' and Stank feat. 2nd II None.
I recommend the re-release of Skanless & Swingin'.. They both remastered and also have bonus tracks.
