I got in a bad car accident saturday night. broke my leg into 5 pieces. had a compound fracture in 2 places (the bone was sticking out of the skin in 2 places). the x rays are crazy. anyways. I was in the hospital til yesterday. but I can't go home for like a month cuz there's too many stairs at my apartment. my car is totalled. the doctors also said I won't have 100 percent recovery for 3 months

i broke my hip in car accident a couple of years ago so i know how it feels. i had to spend a month in the hospital coz my body got banged up pretty bad. watching movies and playin Playstation 18 hours a day gets kinda boring after awhile. but i wish you a speedy recovery and hey atleast you´re alive.

so i just got home yesterday...i had been at the hospital and at my grandmas for the last two weeks...i havent been able to come home cuz i live up 3 flights of stairs and cant walk...but i got sick of being bored and decided that i would find a way to get my ass up the stairs...and the doc said it was ok. anyways now that i have a computer with a keyboard in front of me and im not trying to post with my phone....heres what happened...technically it was my fault.
so where i live there is an intersection nearby that if you looked at it from an aerial view is a flattened out X....so you can see 2 sets of traffic lights...so i was on my way to the olive garden with my girl friend (this intersection is like 2 blocks from the olive garden...god dammit i was almost there lol)....and i glanced up at the light and saw green...so i went....then i randomly glanced up again and realized that the light was red and i slammed on my breaks a little too late and hit an suv going about 40...i put my leg through the firewall of the car...broke it in 3 places...the tibula and fibula....the tibula broke in 3 pieces and both top and bottom of it were sticking out of my leg and the fibula broke in half.
so they had to do surgery on it that night. they put a metal rod in my leg that will be there forever....its been 2 weeks...i can't walk for atleast another month. can't drive for atleast another month (oh it totalled my new car too...thank god for full coverage)....and the doctors say that i wont be fully recovered for a few months. the other thing that sucks is that i damaged a nerve in my leg that is preventing me from moving my foot more than just a little bit. so right now i can barely move my foot on my own....on the upside i've not eaten alot so i've been losing weight like crazy lol...but im alive so thats good. I have pics of my leg & my car (and i can get pics of the x rays)...if u guys wanna see them lemme know....every doc that saw the x rays said it was the worst break they've ever seen. my bones are stacked up like dominoes...its disgusting...and it hurt like hell....gotta love morphine.

my girlfriend was ok...she has some crazy bruises on her knees and we both had some bruises from the seatbelts...but mostly she was ok. everyone in the other car was ok as well. i'll up the pics soon. the pics of my car are on my digital camera which my mom has...the good pics of my leg are on there too. so as soon as i get that back i'll up them

damn man.. thats real harsh.. hope everything goes good with recovery.. keep at the physio etc.. it'll be worth it in the end

my girl is ok...shes still healing but shes fine...the people in the suv are fine too...im the only one who got hurt luckily
