i often check the track name, and i thnk its importatnt to have a tight name, but its not more mpotant than the music..

Yeah i think the track name isn't that important. It should be creative but still be relate to the content of the song. But it really doesn't come down to the name of the song it's just how dope the song is. But if it has a dope name it makes it better.

I Agree With DJ Jay Dee. Except When I'm Looking For Songs To Download And I Dont Know What The Songs Are Like - I Just Go On The Name Of The Song.  ;D

Tracknames are very important.  So are cover art and credits.

Meaning.  BUY THE ALBUMS.  Fuck a rip.  If you like the rip.. then go out and buy it.  Put your money where you EAR is.

Yup, who would DL a track called "A cosy day by the telly", when you DL a track called "Callin out names" e.g.

Just look at how much response the "Tracklisting"-threads gets, the tracknames are VERY important.

Yeah, just like a painting, the title should go along with the content.

tracklistings are a art in themselfs, because like others said the names attract people to the music, and also can help a album flow very well together, if you have 3 weaker songs together someone could give up on the ablum, know what im sayin?

well i usually listen through all the tracks on a new album and as it goes through them i check the names out as i go along...i think it is impotant to have a tite name and sumthin which relates to the song...but if i came accross a dope song which had a pretty shitty name with no relation to the track itself it would be a shame but wouldn't play on my mind or shit cos the title of the song has nothin to do with the quality of the track itself...

though these days where most ppl 'judge a book by its cover', especially kids...if its got a picture of a mint car on the front or sum1 wit a gun and the song titles are related to drugs, gang life, guns n shit it sells...and its a known fact 2 so nobody go tryna correct me on it...the song titles have a major part in the sales of the albums...

I think their fairly important, I think it's important for them to reflect the content of the song especially, it annoys me at times when the title's have no relevence to the actual song.
