also, i found this comment intresting from orbitcast.com, which is a satellite radio forum.
I think this is a scam by both Howard and Infinity. Rumor has it he already had the day off and this was both a publicity stunt by Howard and also Infinity to get more publicity for their "Free FM" format as well as Howrad getting publicity for Sirius. I wouldn't be surprised if Infinity became a major stockholder in Sirius in the near future. It's funny how Howard plays himself off as the renegade when he is really the posterboy for marketing and corporate America.

i think i should address this post a bit more....
1. he's getting desperate by making up this suspension. infinity just played along, becuase they can.
2. that quote was not from wackbag.com, it was from orbitcast.com, which is a satellite radio blog.
3. why does every thing xm does have to be about stern? why does everything Hugh Panero says about XM being a better company than Sirius have to be about Stern? Couldn't it be the fact that it has nothing to do with Stern, and is simply becuase they need someone to issue press releases?
Give me ONE quote from Hugh Panero where he said anything bad about Stern.... and provide a source, and a link.
And a quote like, "We didn't feel Mr. Stern was worth half a billion dollars....", is not enough, becuase, as a company, you have to think, is this smart to pay someone that much?
