Title: Any Info on Ashanti?

Anyone got any info on her (ie. record company, anyone else that she has worked with, etc.)? 'Cause I had never heard of her before today. Is she new to the RnB/Hip Hop scene, or am I just a bit behind in hearing 'bout this artist?

Anyway she's not doing too bad for herself. She's got 3 singles, of which she features in, in the American top 20 Billboard charts. 'Foolish' - just her (at #1), 'What's Luv?' Fat Joe Featuring Ashanti (at #2, tight track!) & 'Always On Time', Ja Rule Featuring Ashanti (at #17).

She's on Murder Inc Records. shes a new artist, i think Always On Time was the first big song she appeared on.

She just dropped her debut album, self-titled. And it sold over 500,000 first week, which is pretty damn good lol
