What the deal ya'll? I'ma head down to the music store and pick up some tight ish, but I was thinking about picking up Baby S - Street Fractions, but I haven't heard anything off of it yet. Can someone tell me if it's a good album to pick up or not? Got some good westcoast flava? What about guest appearances? Is Kurupt up in there? Holla back!

i havent heard it all yet...ive heard a god majority of it...it was alright...i expected more...cuz his work with kurupt, tha himalayaz and lots of others was real good....but i still havent heard it all so dont take my word for it.....also phalos mode(from tha himalayaz) seems to have signed with ruthless also....im wondering if bambino from the group with him signed also...if so ruthless will have some good talent...

I got it the day it came out. I was Baby S's biggest fan before I heard this, no joke, but to me the album was real disappointing.
Beats were on the whole real weak, Step has no business producing the majority of an album. Baby S's rhymes were okay but basically the same ol gangsta gangsta ish you've heard a million and one times before. Also, a lot of the hooks were really annoying.
Couple of decent tracks - I'm Ghetto, All Around, Got Me Phucked Up, and Get Ur Paper are worth checkin out.
But yea, i wouldn't really recommend the album, Baby S can come a lot better. I hope he gets with some better producers next time around.
Spend your money on Contraversy - Inner Conflicts instead. You'll be glad you did!

Yeah, i gotta say that Im kinda disappointed with this album, I don know why, I expected more cause he came tight on almost every song before Street Fractions dropped. Id give it 3 mics out of 5. The album has some good songs though. So if youre a REAL west coast head and you buy almost every west coast record, then you should get it, but if youre that type of fan whos only interested in the big names and guest appeareances and care about the label, you should save your money for a better album. My one regret is that the lyrics aint all that, but Id buy it again.
