Spain demolished Slovakia 5-1 in their 1st leg qualifier, with Liverpool's Luis Garcia getting a hat trick on his full Spain debut, Fernando Torres scored with a penalty and Fernando Morientes completed the scoring for Spain, Szilard Nemeth of Middlesbrough scored for Slovakia
Other scores were:
Europe
Norway 0 - 1 Czech Republic (Vladimir Smicer)
Switzerland 2 - 0 Turkey (Philippe Senderos & Valon Behrami)
South America/Ocenia
Uruguay 1 - 0 Australia (Dario Rodriguez)
Concaff/Asia
Trinidad & Tobago (Chris Birchall) 1 - 1 Bahrain ( Salman Husein)
Looks like only Spain could count on being in Germany 2006 from the scores from the 1st leg qualifiers, the return legs are scheduled for Tuesday/Wednesday

Did anyone see that state of Norways pitch?? It was a disgrace they shouldnt have been allowed 2 play on it, it was more like a beach than a football pitch.

Not only a disgrace, it's a fucking scandal!
The pitch was used to cup finals for both men & women 1 week ago in pouring rain, turned into a mud fight.
Fucking Eastside Football Federation morons insisting on playing in Oslo, mo matter the cost, even if there's a dozen better options.

Don't think so. We are not on the same level as the strongest teams. Don't get confused by that 5-1, it was more of Slovakia being a really bad team than Spain being strong.
