i actually kinda agree with both......He will never be the big thing on the west but his flow personality/style is appealing he could be big like chingy is to the midwest where hes a factor but not on top........he has been in the game so long though and that will hurt him most likely he'll come with a really dope album but it won't be promoted like it should and won't be that big....i truly won't b suprised if he doesn't even have a second solo on doggystyle

Whoever Dre puts on Detox will be the next to blow up. Snoop, Game and Dre are really the only ppl from the west coast who are selling these days, all 3 of them should be putting other artists in the spotlight, like 50 is doing with all of his buddies.

THe only artist that got the skillz and potential 2 ressurect the west is crooked i and sly boogy got what it takes 2,But crooked i is the main man,He could go battle any rapper in the rap game and win,he could out shine any artist on whatever tracc they get on together,crooked i got the flow,the style,and everything he needs,he just need the push,hopefully unervseral do a good job because he the only one the west got thats gonna make the west look good like tupac did

lyrically soopafly is pretty dope. way underrated.
i think he should diversify his production a little, and at a minimum work with other producers rather than just rhyming over his own beats. get some quik, get some bc. he shouldn't try to produce the whole album himself. soopa always rips those guest spots and posse cuts he does: "dogghouse america", "dogghouse in your mouth", "put your hands up"...etc. work with other producers, focus on the lyrics.

When I met him he said that his record is still coming out, think it was first quarter of 2006 (which means summer/fourth quarter at best). I think for right now Snoop got his mind set on the whole DPGC movement, its gonna be interesting to see if he helps Soopa shine after that
