Title: Big Hip Hop Concert in L.a.
Post by: Biron on April 03, 2002, 08:29:17 AM: When i was in l.a. a month ago i've heard about a huge concert in los angeles around mid march or april,with these rappers: outkast,mos def,talib kweli and others....from the afternoon till the late night.
Somebody knows something about it?

Shit, San Bernardino, see I need to be home. One time they had a Kurupt concert in San Bernardino, were I live by the way, and tickets were $5-$20. And I was going to buy some too 'cause I at least have that amount, but it was a week after I left to school. My freshman year here, I missed Cypress Hill Smokefest in downtown 'cause I was here, now I'm missing Talib kweil, Fuck this shit. The only concert I ever caught home was Ja Rule, and I got the tickets for FREE. It was alright, but Snoop in Minnesota was WAAYYYY better.

I've heard the commercial for this concert like a millions times on the radio but I never really payed attention to where it was being held.. I just assumed L.A....I'm In San Bernardino CountIE.. only about 10 mins away from San Bernardino City...

Now I really wanna go.

Only problem is.. all my homies dont listen to this shit.. they might like some of Outkast's stuff but they've never even heard of Twalib Kweli or Common....Not that they're pop rap fans.. they're mostly just into Gangsta Rap... West Caost Gangsta Rap... they look at all that other shit as weak.. They wouldn't wanna go with me.. I dont want to go by myself... I might not end up going

lol u missed out....but actually its Cypress Hill SmokeOut....a real tight ass show...i dont know which year ur talking about...but the one i went to was number 3..it had gangstarr with freddie foxxx, limp bizkit(who fucking sucked, but had bitches horny), dialated people, xzibit & tha liks(xzibit said "wheres my niggas at?" then he said "wheres my latinos at? cuz i know yall hate being called niggas"...lol at least he knows..PURO LATINO), cypress of course and i dont remember who else i was high by the time noon rolled around and i got there at 10am..lol....oh yea but anyway...audiotistic is a rave...or at one point it was....maybe theyre changing it....but just last year it was a rave....so who knows
