You were at that game? That may have been the greatest college football game ever played......of course I am an Ohio State fan so that is easy for me to say.
Anyway, I think you may be right. USC may take Texas too lightly the way Miami did against Ohio State in 2003.

I admit I want Texas to win. One reason I don't like USC is because they play a weak schedule every year. The Pac 10 is a joke and they never schedule any tough non conference games (Notre Dame doesn't count).

Muthaphukkaz hate to see Cali on top. Last year all I heard was that a westcoast team can't compete with a team from else where, the USC stomped on Oklahoma. USC beats Oklahoma 42-28. West up

Yeah, i was there. i was at the gates for the first quarter and a half and i was about to leave, so i went to turn my stuff in and they said they needed people on the field. So, of course i said ok. I made it in time for the halftime show. And i got to see Willis McGahee get his knee blown out. I wasn't really doing the "security" thing, i was watching the game and i wasnt getting paid for it either. I probably had the best view of the game and i didnt pay a dime to get in.

I am a Notre Dame fan, but I want Texas to win and i think they can win.... but my gut feeling says USC =/.

Texas all the way. SC has no D. A real No.1 team doesn't give up 42 points to Fresno
but in bowl games their defense has been great, giving up only 14 points a game in their last 4 bowl games...and 2 of those were national title games.
Texas is good....and well rounded on offense and defense, but i honestly cant see them out scoring USC. Its been shown that no one can stop the trojans offense...and id be willing to bet their defense comes to play like it did against a pretty good UCLA team. Bottom line...they just keep winning. EVERY team put in front of them, they beat. Id stick with em as long as this groups together.

texas has a better d in my opinion but then again SC can have a good D at times , you can never count them out.......also texas has never seen as much offensive fire power as USC's . you got thunder and lighting ( white and bush) and then the man with the golden arm .....
i ain't picking a winner cuz it'll be too hard to say

texas DEFINETELY has a better D then SC. Texas is ranked in the top 10 in the nation on both offense and defense. BUT, Pete Carroll knows how to plan...and with a month to get ready for Texas, SC's defense will come to play, im sure. And like u said...no need to even mention the offense, you already know what theyll do.
