For a while now i feel kinda bored with hiphop, and i aint really feeling the new players in the game. And i heard all the old albums to many times now. So im listening more now to other types of music. Like:
- Bubbling
- Reggae
- Dancehall
- Merengue
- Salsa
- Reggaeton
-
its all about rock...
punk - rise against, bad religion, green day, coheed & cambria, offspring, rancid, etc...
older rock - nirvana, aerosmith, metallica, alice in chains, etc...
emo - copeland, mae, dashboard confessional, etc...
alternative - papa roach, coldplay, damien rice, linkin park, nickelback, etc...
I am actually more of a rock listener than hip hop now...other than rock and hip hop its R&B and techno every now and then...i don't really like country at all...except johnny cash but to me his music isn't really the annoying crappy country we hear today

In general, I listen to a lot of what my students listen to these days (yes, even this indie-hipster stuff like Death Cab for Cutie...I had to admit I like it). Otherwise, I listen to some R&B and soul from the 70s', New Age from the 80s', and lots of 90s' rock like Matchbox 20.
-
funk, rnb, soul, motown
^same here. I LOVE those records. Right now I'm trying to get into classic rock and jazz.
-
Thanks to XM radio, I'm listening to stuff I otherwise wouldn't listen to. I even catch myself listening to rock or even classic rock. I can't say I know much about the genre though. I do listen to r&b/soul/old school funk stuff quite frequently and electronica/dance/techno every now and then. I enjoy that type of music more when I'm in the club. Every now and then I'll check out jazz. To be totally honest, I probably bump hip hop probably 80% of the time.
-
Any & Everything.

However it's all occasional. I listen to hiphop and rap like 95% of the time; not like I'm limiting myself, it's just what I love most.
