mines gotta be Daz and Kurupt, iv loved them 4 about 8 years now, although i know quik, dre, snoop, pac may be more talented, these are my favourite as i check out these artists more than any1 :-\

It looks like people are choosing their favorite artists instead of the most popular ones.
The most popular artists from the west coast are 2pac, then Snoop.
2pac is for obvious reasons. Snoop has reached a level of popularity that has superceded Dr. Dre and Ice Cube. He's everywhere.

actually, the point to this thread is to choose your favorite artist, then at the end you can see who the most popular is by looking at which artists are favored by most that vote.
it's literally a popularity contest, not "try to guess the psyche of the hip hop buying public".

Pac, Snoop, Cube, Quik, Dre, and Xzibits are the artists I really look for on the West.

Dr. Dre... Only has classic albums out; pretty obvious. His 92 shit still bumps.
Ice Cube... imo the best rapper of all time out the west
