Both of them are very dope and i rate them within the top 5 producers on the coast.. but who do you feel more? personally for me, i tend to feel fredwreck style more..
-
Oh definitely Fredwreck. Battlecat is played the fuck out.
-
fred
-

he needs to get active, but cat.

I like Fred's beats a little more
-
Battlecat
-
bc powdah, no question. cat will never play out.
-
EASY, Battlecat.
I appreciate and enjoy freds beats......but most of battlecats shit is classic PLUS hes been making dope beats for alot longer.....
IMO you cant fuck with that BC Funk.
-
Both of these are some of my favorite producers so I got to say that's it really hard to pick one but for right now I got to say Fredwreck, but Battlecat was my favorite a couple of year's back
-
battlecat
-
fredwreck
-
i gotta say fredwreck by a very small margin tho. Fredwreck is more creative and comes up with shit you wouldn't expect.
-
I didn't know Battlecat produced Criminal Set. That beat is tight as fuck!!!!
-
pssshh BattleCat fo sho aint no competition :)
-
I almost like them the same...
but Battlecat is more of a veteran and I love his sound...
Freddy is one of my favorites though, definitely in my top 5
-
BC Powda in the Eddie Bauer nigga 8)
-
Overall, definitely Battlecat. The music he did from 93-2000 alone outdoes what Fred did from 99-2005, and Fred had some MAJOR heat. So addin what Cat did then, to what he has done up to now, definitely gives him the W. Right now, Fred might drop better heat, but Battlecat paved the way for producers like him to come with that style that Fred came out with.

Battlecat
-
fredwreck all the way i havent heard a beat by him i dont like
-
Battlecat
-
Battlecat for sure, this dude productions always keeps me happy and it makes me wanna dance!!
*Bumpin Lucy Pearl's "You" *
-
might hooking that lucy pearl track up 8)
-
Battlecat!! i can bump BC produced tracks all day.. Fred Wreck is real good too but i prefer Battlecat for um reason
-
Battlecat for me. He got that extra funk or something in there that just bumps. But Fred can wreck the hell out of a beat too, no doubt. I wouldn't mind hearing more stuff from either dude.
-
personally for me, i tend to feel fredwreck style more..
-
props to everyone thats replied to this.. everyone had good points to put across.. 8)
-
Frrrrreeeeed.
-
Battlecat...he might even be a better "beatmaker" then dre :D
-
fredwreck IMO, "onsite" was fuckin ill
-
Right now I am feelin battlecat a whole lot more. I love his beats and I can easily play them all day like dj quik. Can't say the same for fredwreck...I haven't really checked out enough beats by both of them to make a real decision, but right now I gonna give it to battlecat.
-
I like both producers but I have to go with the OG, DJ Battlecat. He just has so many memorable tracks. The only producer that can touch his catalog in between 98-01 is DJ Quik. Plus Cat had some heat before then such as Dana Dane's record jock which dropped in '95.
-
Freddy Wreck
-
I like them both but I'm gonna go with Battlecat... 8)
-
Wadduupp Freeed!
Battlecat is very dope too, so it's a hard pick. Fredwreck has made some of my favourite tracks though, 'bring back that g shit' 'crip-a-fied', 'ridaz wit me' 'on, onsite'...there's just so many so I'll have to go with fred
-
I almost like them the same...
but Battlecat is more of a veteran and I love his sound...
Freddy is one of my favorites though, definitely in my top 5
fred jus nips it 4 me
-
If I got to choose its Battlecat, but they are both real funky. They both got major slaps.
-
Fredwreck is dope
But u can't fuck with Battlecat's shit...
-
Battlecat no doubt. He's beats are better plus he is more consistant than Wreck.
Also a thing about Fred is...I love his beat. But some of his shit would be "classic" instead of just "great" if he mixed them better or whatever (listen to Daz's Skirt Out). And sometimes he just makes wack shit...like Tash's "Nitefalls"
-
Fredwreck
Battlecat can certainly produce laidback shit but i think he is somewhat lacking when he does more uptempo beats whereas Fredwreck can handle both well, though a laidback Fredwreck track usually can't beat a laidback Battlecat track.
