These fuckin rappers piss me off man...no respect for the fans
first they give us a watered down piece of shit version of 213 10 yrs too late
dpgc gonna be the same thing
a nice big batch of "fa shizzles" , "fuck a bitch, gotti hitler, semi attraction, subtraction, spasmatic", and some incoherent mumbling from daz....
-
this is a funny thread ;D ;D
-
wel... i think this album is off the hook! it has that west coast vibe we all love... i'm not complaining!!
-
I dunno what some of y'all are expecting from these guys in 2005. Of course it's sub-par.
-
i thought u were gonna say an actual R n B album i buy them chicks prefer that than fuckin to the chronic
-
i got it 2.. im only really feelin Real Soon.. Notorious DPG could be a good song if RBX rapped normal and didnt recite his rhyme instead of rappin it.. i mean shit Rage, Kurupt, RBX the lyrical gangbangers on a new track it couldda been a classic song >:(

yeah I can't stand the way RBX is rappin now, he did the same bullshit on the Marshal Mathers LP
RBX fukked up on that album, he could of blew the fuck up if he dropped a verse like he did on Chronic, I mean that album only pushed like 6-7milliion plus
-
Dinner in bed is also nice ;D ::)
-
An interesting album...I must check out...hopefully I will be able to buy it next Monday.
Major propz for the information. ;)
It's a good thing we got a forum to find information like this. It will be hard to find it by email.

to me it sounds more like Welcome to tha Chuuch vol 10 : Tha R&B Edition the mixtape aint bad, but That Tiffany Chick has to get the fuck out
-
its a good album but not among the west coast albums ever made.. the only thing that confuses me about the album is the Nine Inch Dix but other than that its a pretty solid album

This is whats disappointing about this album
After holding a save the west coast summit ... Snoop could have thrown alot of talented west coast rappers on this project rather then a bunch of rnb singers ..
Its not even a major label release .. so if he doesn't want to do it on his own albums because of label politics what better then to do it on this album ..
At least he gave Mykestro some shine .. but Bishop,G Malone , Hootie ,Strong Arm , Roccet, Problem and a whole lot more could have all got there shine on with this project .. add to the fact he could have thrown on older heads like Xzibit , Jayo , Crooked I etc .. that would mean alot more to the west coast then this rnb garbage
It would have sold alot more as well .. And I don't think all these artists would have been like i want 20,000 GZ for a project like this they know its Koch .. they know what Snoops name brings to the table .. If Snoop was serious about 'Project save the west coast ' this would have been the perfect spring board
-
I dont even think that Snoop takes his label seriously, he had good Talents like LaToiya Williams and Bad Azz on his team but he fucked that up, and why the fuck would u sign a deal with Koch when u still have the power to go major?
-
and why the fuck would u sign a deal with Koch when u still have the power to go major?
Because this is just a collection of mixtape songs intended for his fans, not for pop audiences. You don't release mixtapes on major labels. That's what Koch does - they either put out underground releases by major-label artists, or they put out new content by artists who have fallen off commercially. It's how they've built their rep.

I've thought long and hard about it, and what it's the result of is that you and rap have both changed and in totally different directions. I'm not positive anymore that the music was anymore creative in 1993, it just seems that way in retro... of course back then I *KNEW* the shit was cool when it was out... and now I *KNOW* the shit ain't cool when it comes out... but I think it's because we've grown up, and the rappers we're listening to grew up too.
The kids that are around today probably have the same exstatic experience listening to Chingy that we did when we listened to the Chronic the first time.
