Yeah I read that he will play first until Izturis gets back from the dl then he will move to the outfield.

That's all what the writers hope happens. They always use these words "expected to" and "believed to..". It also isn't a smart decision to make Nomar switch positions in the middle of the season.

When healthy the guy can hit. He's played under 100 games for two straight seasons. I expect him to OPS at .800-.850. Which is what Choi/Saenz can at 1/6th the price
