Now then, I was just wanderin really, I always thought that the Deep Cover Soundtrack was a deathrow/GF Entertainment release, which it is.
So the reason I wanna post this is because of 2 reasons:
01. The soundtrack isn't listed in the deathrow discography section
02. On the 'Wecome To Death Row' DVD it says 'Both Death Row Records or Ruthless Records refused to let us show their music' << or sumthin to that effect. But this is the only death row song/video they show on the whole video.
so my question is:
if deep cover was a death row release then how cum they don't list it, and how cum they were allowed to show it on the welcome to death row video?
hope sum1 can clear this up 4 me cos i am really confused, i know it was a death row release,

It was originally released on Solar Records, its not a Death Row release but they did have numerous artists appear on it.

ok...i always thought it's what kicked off death roe records...i know for a fact in the credits it don't mention solar records...it only mentions GF entertainment...and if u remember harry o started GodFather entertainment and it was originally 50/50 partners with death row records....that's why i always thought it was a death row release...

I dont remember the ins and outs of it, but it's all in that book The Rise and Fall of Death Row by Ronin Ro. it explains the whole solar/death row/gf situation in there. i recommend coppin that book
