First i will like to give props to the guy that post the vidoe where biggie was dissing pac,it was tru that i got to know about the site and i searched for snoop and some vidoe of his came up,i clicked d one wirth puffy and.....It was the studio session when they were doing the biggie track that snoop performed-in at the MTV Awards.

what i like about it is the way puffy is telling snoop to do it a lil bit more smooth,thats how to get d best out of a rapper not a producer that will be too happy to work with snoop and wont be able to do it better.
I really wont mind puffy overseeing a snoop album now(well what could be worse after pharell and snoop got together).
I Think we just got to admit the fact that,its d new millenium and its different from d early 90's now,hip hop is getting bigger and bigger,people just have to connect if they are in d same industry.
If puffy's gonna make snoop spit like that and on that kind of beat,what else do i want.

Puffy gets way too much hate. He's a great producer. He did alot of sampling, but so did everyone else, including Dre. We can get beyond that with Dre, but not with Puff? I'm not saying Puffy's on Dre's level, he's not. He is however one of the best, most exciting producers in rap.

Puffy is actually one of the best producers of today, but I dont think he's focussed on music like before, because he's running other stuff like clothing line etc, back then he just had Bad Boy & Daddy's House...now he got alot of shit going on..so he's not really focussed, but YESS Puffy is one of the best

Well first, Puffy didn't do much of anything in that video. Thats shit that all producers do. Having said that, he IS a good producer, but like dude said - he's got so much other stuff poppin that music ain't #1 to him like it used to be. I think he's almost gotten tired of dealin with street niggas these days. Look what happened to his biggest acts - BIG (dead) Ma$e (Retired, Unretired, dissed Puff) Shyne (shootin at niggas, goes to jail) LOX (jump ship, threaten to drop a refrigerator off the top of a building on his head). He still has Black Rob, but that album saw NO promotion. Look at the opportunity he gave Da Band. Yes, they were wack to me, but they fucked off the biggest opportunity of their lives. No wonder he's focusing on his old catalogue and RnB bitches.
I don't know which of the Hitmen (D-Dot is still there, Chucky Thompson?) are still on BadBoy, but if he got the right artist, i'd like to see what he could do with them.

... but yet Dre jacking the entire beat of Nothin' But a G Thang was genius, right? #1 Single of the 90's according to Rolling Stone. In my opinion, Puffy did what people wanted to hear at the time, he's nowhere near as talented as Dre but he does have a gold ear for commercially successful records, Dre's are just more creative. Puffy easily dropped the sampling shit years ago and continued producing great records, just like Dre did. I don't have the numbers in front of me but I'll bet if you looked it up Puffy's pushed more albums than Dre has. Somebody look up the numbers on the Chronic, then look up the numbers on Puff Daddy & The Family and tell me which sold more.

I looked it up, P diddy & the Fam was certified 7X plat, The Chronic was only certified 3X plat, although that number's old and probably way low. The chronic 2001 was certified 6X plat. while Forever was only certified Platinum.

p diddy's got a great musical ear, one o fmy fav beats he did is all about the benjamins, and that track by 3LW wanna get close to you, that beat is tha shit
